The Joke Card is a voice actor joke segment featured at the end of each episodes (including TV remastered episodes). It has been provided with many different backgrounds. In the early era of the anime, only Conan appeared during the segment. Later, other characters also started to appear.

The 2nd joke card utilised during Masato Sato directional era. This is the only joke card that got animated. This joke card sits in-between the video resolution from 4:3 format to 16:9 format; hence, starting episode 453, the joke card was remade to fit the wider display yet same content was retained.

The last and only joke card utilised during 2nd Yasuichiro Yamamoto directional era. It has never been changed since episode 696; however, there are some slight variations of it that was merely utilised in certain special episodes (examples include sunflower theme, black impact theme, christmas theme and mechanics theme) Starting episode 1077, the anime's colour design was altered from Shigenobu Kaihoko to Fusako Nakao; as a result, the colour design of the joke card was also altered. Note: in the version 2 joke card, not only the font was varied, but also appended furigana.
