Biography
Yuki Inoue was born in Kyoto City, but grew up in Otsu, Shiga. She was the youngest of four siblings. After watching Ikkyu-san and Maison Ikkoku, she wanted to become a voice actress, and managed to convince her parents to move to Tokyo to study voice acting, despite her parents' opposition.[2]
In Tokyo, she graduated from the Tokyo Announcing Academy, and joined the company Office Kaoru in 1991. The following year, she made her voice acting debut in a western film, and became a regular voice actress in 1996, after she obtained the lead role in Kiko-chan Smile. In May 2003, she changed her name to 雪野 五月 and later opted for a name written entirely in hiragana in May 2015. In May 2016, she left Ken Production to become a freelance voice actress. She launched her Youtube Channel in 2020.[3]
