Movie 27

Wassup Ranunculus! This is Nakamura, the "AI-powered definitely not a work-slave" writer of the resolution of movie 27. I'm sad to see you removed it without any solid argument. I wrote the review two weeks after watching the movie live in Japan after work so some parts might not be completely right, but just let me know and I can correct it. I definitively have the culprits and actions right. I don't remember the motives too well, but if you watched the movie as well and have a good understanding of Japanese, please shine a light on that for me. If you try to revert the edit again without clearly pointing out what needs to be changed, I will be considering protecting the page. Yours truly, --Nakamura talk 02:12, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
Hi User:Nakamura! You seem taking it quite personally considering it's not like I was targeting you specifically; not that I knew it was you, even...??? I don't recall my wording to be hostile but rather one of genuine confusion, apologies there. Although, I definitely did not call you "AI-powered definitely not a work-slave", but if thinking that brings you comfort, okay...??? Needless to say, I'm more confused now...
"I don't remember the motives too well" then... why did you write it if I may ask...?
  1. The Pentagram in the title is 五稜星, they were in 五稜郭 Goryokaku Park, which the title references. Conan and Heiji asked Kadokura to meet at Goryokaku Park which is a location in real life, not "the Pentagram" which is... just not a place.
  2. Kadokura did not once mention he planted things on any ferry, nor any ferry at all whatsoever. It was the entire city of Hakodate he had planted explosives in, in order to get Conan, Heiji, and Detective Nishimura to cooperate, hence Detective Nishimura's "he has the entire city hostage, huh?" line after the phone call. 津軽海峡フェリー was never once mentioned.
  3. The "barracks" you mentioned isn't simply any random nameless building. It's the Former Magistrate Office which is the exact building in the middle of Goryokaku Park they met at. Tourism sites would tell you this immediately...???
  4. "Kid then escapes towards the treasure" He was still present when Okita showed up, at least up until Ayumi delivered Conan's skateboard because he was there to see that.
  5. The one Heiji was chasing was Hijiri, not Kadokura. That's what Heiji's GPS tracking was for.
  6. "and his accomplice" It was the same Nacho you mentioned got tied up by Kid a few lines above.
  7. "he has a similar injury to when they managed to fend off the attacker: a slash on the hand" Conan's was saying such an injury is common for people who practice iaido, not specifically when the masked man attacked Kid.
  8. "and explains that originally the treasure was supposed to be his"/"Thus, as a favor, Tadayuki bequeathed him the treasure" Not once did Ryoe ever claim the treasure to be his AT ALL. Tadayuki tasked Ryoe with its destruction, not safekeeping. You also missed out the part that has Ryoe explain that he purposely framed Hijiri to make sure Kadokura cannot bring him harm.
  9. "his mother died while his father Ryoe never took care of her and noticed her" Not once did he say that. He was bringing up how his mother died while protecting children from enemy bombing. It had been implied during Kadokura's phone call to Detective Nishimura that at least Ryoe thought the Onoe treasure was a threatening war weapon.
  10. "Heiji tells him that there is no way he can become a nurse like his mother if he does things like that" Quite the opposite, actually. Heiji asked Hijiri if he had given up on his dreams of pursuing medicine like his mother and told him he shouldn't have to give up after Hijiri dishearteningly said he'd forgotten about it.
  11. "Inspector Nishimura is on the ferry" He was never on any ferry. Where does your ferry keep coming from because the only ferry present was the one owned by the English-speaking man in black that Kadokura was on a call with but not once did any of the major characters step foot on that ferry.
  12. "Primitive code machine" It's a cryptograph + the code-breakers. Also the usage of "primitive" can sometimes be considered offensive/inappropriate. Outdated maybe, not primitive.
  13. "Okita remembers his grandfather" There was no direct mention of ancestors. It was implied Onimaru is a descendant of Hijikata's given their VAs and the way his voice spooked Okita, but it was left ambiguous with no hard confirmation so it's only up to interpretation.
  14. "Kadokura, Hijiri and Ryoe are all taken away by the Hokkaido Police" Only Kadokura and Ryoe were seen getting arrested. Hijiri's fate is left ambiguous.
  15. "At the same time, he writes to a certain T. K., who says they finally managed to get Hijikata's sword" Woah woah woah, their text messages were about Yusaku's latest novel. Yusaku was telling Yukiko that his brother gave him a sword as a present, and the camera shows a closeup of the crossguard, letting the viewers find out it was the very same sword that belonged to Keizaburo that had gone missing.
