- The new opening song is "As the Dew" by GARNET CROW. It will begin airing in February 2010.
- Akira Kamiya, longtime voice of Kogoro Mouri, no longer voices the character. The new voice actor is Rikiya Koyama
- The 14th movie The Lost Ship in the Sky, has been announced.
