Case

Situation

A routine afternoon at the library turns into the hunt for a corpse after an attendant turns up missing. When Conan and the Detective Boys try to solve the mystery by staying after-hours, they find themselves trapped, in the dark, and not alone. Will they catch the killer before he catches them?

Shuji Tsugawa is the culprit, he is the killer and he hides the corpse above the elevator. Tamada discovered the illegal drugs hidden inside the fake books which means Tsugawa is a drug dealer and that's why Tsugawa killed him to keep him quiet.

Trivia

• The inspector that appears during Megure's questioning of Tsugawa has Takagi's earlier character design but he wasn't voiced by Wataru Takagi; he was voiced by Isshin Chiba who later would go on to inspire the creation of and provide the voice for Detective Chiba.
