Situation
Kogoro is asked by a man to solve a coded text message from his daughter since she refused to tell him the meaning of the text message. Meanwhile, Eri has left her Russian Blue kitten, Goro, in the care of Kogoro. While Kogoro attempts to decipher the message, Goro drops a dictionary to translate English in Japanese causing Kogoro to realize that the English letters of the code can be translated to Japanese. Goro sneaks into Kogoro's video tape collection and where he notices tape is missing and realizes the message contain Hiragana and Katakana with missing strokes.
