After school, Sera goes to Kogoro's Detective Agency with Ran and Sonoko. She keeps questioning about Conan and wants to meet him but Conan is at Professor Agasa's house, preparing for a camp with Detective Boys. As she is leaving, three women and a man appears at the agency. The man threaten Kogoro to solve a case with a pistol and bomb. Conan makes a call to Ran's cellphone after the Detective Boys said that they see that Ran walks with an unknown guy. Ran hangs up the cellphone and talks normally. However, Sera takes the phone and close it with a trick so that Conan is still in contact. Sera requests the bomber to tell the case situation again so that Conan can hear as well. However, they were busted after the bomber realizes the trick. However, Conan uses Shinichi's voice to make the bomber trusts him.

When he arrives there and meets with Conan, Ran, Sera, and Kogoro he gets a call from Kazuha saying that she needs help and cannot leave the restaurant because there was a murder.
