Shimizu stated that he was loosing the match and asked how he could have killed him. Despite this Conan asked Ran and Takagi to sit where Bito and Shimizu were playing. The male character beats the female character which makes Megure and the other people think that Takagi, who was playing the wining character, went to far. However Megure removed Takagi's helmet and saw him blindfolded. Conan revealed that he told Ran to play the male character and Takagi to play the Female Character and also to cover his eyes with his necktie so he could not see. Megure concluded it was a mind trick. Conan then explained that everyone would think that Ran would play the Female Character and Takagi play the Male Character. Conan then reveals that Shimizu was the one playing Bito's avatar in order disguise the fact Bito was already dead. As for the weapon, Conan explains Shimizu hid a needle inside a cigarette, put gum around it, wrapped it around paper and had it stuck to Dejima's shoes. As certain evidence, Conan reveals that a coin with Shimizu's fingerprints should be found in Bito's arcade machine. Shimizu confesses stating that it would have been his last game in order to say goodbye to games and to Bito Shimizu. He then revealed Bito's gambling and debt. His sister had worked endlessly trying to pay off the debt and not eat which caused his sister to develop Vitamin A deficiency and resulting in her blindness. Shimizu explained that made a deal with Bito so that if he beat him as Haido Lucas that Bito would leave his sister alone. However, now he regrets killing him because now Beika Caeser is gone and he will never get a chance to beat him. As Sonoko, Ran, and Jodie leave the arcade, Joide says she was impressed with Sonoko by stating that she was like Kate Martin. Their discussion leads to Shinichi, to which Ran noted that Sonoko was like Shinichi. Jodie says that Shinichi is cool. Then she says goodbye whilst calling Conan the name Cool Guy. That night, Jodie calls an unknown person discussing how her target, the Rotten Apple has changed appearance. |
