Background
Kawanaka is a detective (刑事 keiji ) from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Division One Investigations. He loves Detective Sato and thus jealous of Detective Takagi, much often to boycott along with all his colleagues their dates. Superintendent Matsumoto puts always awe to him.
He looks like a drop of water to Kogoro Mori, when he was young and hadn't mustache yet.
