<spoiler>'''Miho Nishitani''' used a poisoned Gutsman drink to kill Tatsuya Nagai; he had pushed her down a set of stairs in public after she called the cops on him for stalking her. Worrying for her life, she knew a stalker would even want to drink what she did, purchasing a Gutsman drink in advance and putting poison in it. She did purchase another bottle from the machine, but pretended to get it, taking out the poisoned bottle instead and pretending to drink it. She left it behind on a fence for Tatsuya to drink. However, two things were wrong with the plan: a sticker on the bottle containing the poison advertised a contest that was already over, and the machine would not likely still have any left. Secondly, Kogoro found the bottle she actualy paid for, but mistook it for a machine error of getting a second one free. | <spoiler>'''Miho Nishitani''' used a poisoned Gutsman drink to kill Tatsuya Nagai; he had pushed her down a set of stairs in public after she called the cops on him for stalking her. However, as evidence in Miho's favor, a bag containing harmful tools was found by Conan in the bushes outside her home; Tatsuya had been planning on killing her. Due to this evidence, Miho will likely receive a light sentence for murdering in self-defense. | However, as evidence in Miho's favor, a bag containing harmful tools was found by Conan in the bushes outside her home; Tatsuya had been planning on killing her.
