Plot
A stage actress, Julia wants to use her star sapphire for her upcoming play and asks for Kogoro Mori's help to protect it after showing Kogoro a letter from Kaitou Kid. On the day of the theft, Kid appears at the theatre disguised up as Shinichi Kudo but ends up fleeing in the end without the jewel. To thank them, Julie invites Kogoro and everyone to Hakodate, and they all travel on an airplane to get there. In the air, one of the show actor, Shitou, who was suppose to be elsewhere and Ran's mother, Eri Kisaki, joins them on the plane. Julia meets with the captains of the plane and everyone kisses her hand because of the sapphire she wears. Julia later dies from being poisoned from licking her fingers after eating chocolate, which is later found done by her make-up artist. But, the pilots are poisoned too! With Kid around, will there be a safe landing, and what will happen to our hero? Conan must outwit his enemy when he meets the Magician of the Silver Sky!
