- Although this set of episodes makes up the ninth "Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story" series, the number 9 isn't used in the titles. The Wiki is using the "9" to help distinguish the set from the original Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story.
- The video game Titan Hunter mentioned by the Detective Boys at the beginning of the first part appears to be based on the manga title Attack on Titan.
