- The Part 1 of the episode had one of the trucks of Cheetah Delivery Service appear which had already appeared in many cases starting from Sweet and Cold Delivery Service.
- The Police car outside is a Toyota Crown Sedan [S200] 2012. The license plate number is 新宿 800, は 23-86 (Shinjuku 800, Ha 23-86).
Manga to anime changes
- The Logo of Beika Bookstore doesn't have any white border in the manga but it does in the anime.
- The part where Kogoro and Conan follow Ran in Beika is much shorter in the manga probably because of timing issues.
- There is no appearance in the manga of the Cheetah Delivery Service.
- In the manga, there is no flashback of the corpse of Shido Nukitani and Soshi Okita looking above it.
