Professor Agasa has created a computer program that can give you the identity of anyone in the world. He decides to use it on figuring out who Kaitou Kid is. Before he does, the program gives him a history of the Kid, as well as preview clips of the eighth movie. When he is about to finally figure out who the Kid is, Kid appears on the computer screen, announcing he has hacked the program. This special is about Kaitou Kid.
2	Black History	December 17, 2007
A recap of the Black Organization's actions so far, aired during an anime break the month before Clash of Red and Black began. This special focuses on past cases involving the Black Organization.
3	Lupin III vs. Detective Conan	March 27, 2009
The Queen of Vespania and her first born son are killed in a hunting accident, leaving behind her daughter, Princess Mira. Conan ends up protecting her after a failed attempt on her life. Coincidentally, the gentleman thief Lupin III happens to be there as well, in order to steal the Vespanian Crown. Later on, both Lupin and Conan realize that the deaths of the two royals may not have been an accident at all and must team up in order to solve the case and keep Mira safe.

A complete retelling of the first two episodes of the series as a 2 hour special, with new scenes featuring characters that did not exist at that point. This special contains new scenes with BO members from a point at the beginning of the series.

The mysterious thief Kaitou Kid has reappeared after an eight year hiatus stealing jewels. Meanwhile, high school student Kaito Kuroba discovers a secret room in his house behind a portrait of his father along with Kaitou Kid's outfit. What does this mean? Kaito Kuroba/Kaitou Kid, Aoko Nakamori, Ginzo Nakamori, Toichi Kuroba, Chikage Kuroba, and Konosuke Jii are introduced. Kaito takes over from Jii what Toichi started and becomes the next Kaitou Kid. At this point of time, Kaito targets expensive objects as Kid to attract the attention of whoever might know something about (or had something to do with) what happened to Toichi. Aoko blushes when she thinks Kaito is leaning very close towards her. Kaito and Aoko share good chemistry while walking home from school during the sunset. Heist: The Moonlight Eye We see young Kaito and Aoko watching Toichi Kuroba's magic show. Kaito remembers something from this time that his father told him about using a Poker Face which aids him in his confrontation with Jii.

While stealing the Angel Crown, Inspector Nakamori catches a glimpse of Kaito's face while in his disguise as Kaitou Kid. Determined to prove to her father Kaito isn't Kid, Aoko convinces Kaito to go on a date with her to Tropical Land at the same time Kid's next heist is to take place. If Kaito is caught by Aoko leaving from Tropical Land or if Kid never shows up for the heist, Kaito's identity will be exposed! Can Kaito manage to go on the date with Aoko and complete the Kid heist at the same time? First appearance of Keiko Momoi. Inspector Nakamori and Aoko have their first suspicions that Kaito might be Kaitou Kid. 3	The Princess Prefers Magic	August 13, 2011
Princess Anne of the Duchy of Sabrina visits Japan along with her trigger-happy bodyguard Detective Delon. While in Japan, Anne longs to meet Kaitou Kid while Delon plans to put an end to Kid once and for all. Inspector Nakamori worries that Delon will succeed and he'll lose his job chasing Kid and dream of capturing him. Kid's next heist is Princess Anne's jewel, Beaucoup de Soleil à Paris, which Anne plans to wear at a party. Can Kaito manage to steal the jewel, make Anne's wishes come true, make Nakamori look good, and manage to survive an encounter with Delon? Noticing Aoko seems depressed and worried about her father lately, Kaito puts together a plan to make Inspector Nakamori look good during a Kid heist. 4	A Witch Sheds No Tears	September 24, 2011
Akako Koizumi, a witch attending Kaito's school, is furious to discover that there's only one man in the world who can resist her charms: Kaitou Kid. It's Valentine's Day so all the girls in school are giving chocolates to boys they care about. Kaito notices a bunch of boys surrounding Akako and decides to ask her for a chocolate. Akako tells Kaito she'll give him one...if he throws away all of the others he's received. Kaito declines leading Akako to realize that since he managed to escape her charm, he must be the Kaitou Kid. Akako decides that if she can't have Kaito fall in love with her, then no one shall have him and plots Kid's demise on top of the Tokyo Sky Tree after a heist. Can Kaito survive his heist and Akako's threat? First appearance of Akako Koizumi. Akako becomes aware of Kid's true identity through her witchcraft and process of elimination. 5	The Fated Blue Birthday	October 29, 2011
Aoko is upset because her father, Inspector Nakamori, will miss her birthday because he needs to chase Kid as Kid attempts to steal India's largest sapphire, The Blue Birthday. Kaito cheers her up by promising he'll perform a magic show at her birthday party. Kid successfully steals the Blue Birthday only to be stopped in his escape by a man named Snake who reveals that he killed Toichi Kuroba, the original Kaitou Kid, eight years ago. Will Kid escape this situation alive and make it to Aoko's party in time? First appearance of Snake. After his confrontation with Snake, Kaito loudly proclaims as Kid that he'll find Pandora and destroy it before Snake and his group have a chance to use it. From this point on, he targets big jewels that could potentially be the doublet gem Pandora when held up to the moonlight. Despite not making it to the party Kaito makes good on his promise by lighting up an entire skyscraper to say "Happy Birthday Aoko!" and shooting fireworks into the sky, much to Aoko's delight. Heist: The Blue Birthday It is revealed that Snake is responsible for Toichi's death and that Snake knew that Toichi Kuroba was the Kaitou Kid. However, luckily for Kaito, Snake thinks Toichi somehow survived and that the Kid standing before him is the same one from eight years ago.
6	Love on the Ski Slope on Christmas Eve	December 24, 2011
Ekoda High School Class 2-B goes on a trip to the mountains for some skiing but Kaito and Aoko quickly discover that Aoko can't ski very well at all. The teacher announces a costumed skiing competition in which boy-girl couples will ski down the slope together and Akako sees her chance to woo Kaito. Much to Kaito's surprise, Aoko partners up with another male student from the class who also can't ski well. To his dismay, Kaito ends up partnering with Akako. Neither Kaito nor Aoko are happy with this outcome. However, could an appearance by Kaitou Kid turn things around? Kaito overhears Aoko talking about his past and why she admires him. It is revealed Akako sees Aoko as a rival for Kaito's affections. When Akako asks Aoko if she likes Kaito Aoko becomes extremely flustered. Akako admits her feelings for Kaito to Aoko. Aoko, after speaking to Akako, chooses to partner with another classmate who doesn't ski very well because she doesn't want to be a burden on Kaito. Kaito becomes extremely cold towards Akako when he discovers Aoko has already chosen Fujie as her ski partner. Aoko is equally upset and wonders why Kaito didn't ask her sooner. Kaito and Aoko ski down the ski slope together for the class's costumed skiing competition.
7	The Splendid Rivals	August 4, 2012
At Ekoda Natural History Museum, a purple-eyed gem is believed to be Pandora. Kaitou Kid will not let this chance go in vain. Meanwhile the famous high school detective from London named Saguru Hakuba arrives bearing one goal in his mind, which is capturing Spider. Will Kaitou Kid succeed in getting the gem and finding what he is looking for before The Organization do? Will Hakuba manage to stop Spider and arrest him? First appearance of Saguru Hakuba, Superintendent General Hakuba, and Spider. Hakuba and Kid confront Spider who tries to kill them. Hakuba, later, transfers to Kaito's class after deciding to stay in Japan. At the end, Spider figures out that the current Kaitou Kid isn't the same one from 8 years ago. Akako admires Kid's heroic deed after saving Hakuba's life. Heist: Bronze Statue
8	The Secret of the Red Tear	August 11, 2012
Aoko and Kaito are invited by the head of The Magician Troupe Jody Hopper to see The Hopper Magic Show. However, Jody disdains magic due to her parents' death 10 years ago in an accident during a show. As a result, the show will be the last to be performed on stage. Meanwhile, Snake and The Organization targets the "Red Tear" ruby, which is owned by Jody Hopper. Therefore, Kaito decides to protect the ruby and its owner from The Organization. Later, Kaito meets the magician Paul, who tries to make Jody change her mind and let The Magician Troupe continue. Will Kaito manage to keep Jody and the Red Tear safe from Snake? Will he succeed to help Paul regarding Jody and the troupe? Kaitou Kid faces off against Snake and his lackeys in a showdown for the Red Tear! Hakuba blushes when he sees Akako. Heist: The Red Tear Toichi told Kaito that the grandfather made the jewel for his granddaughter Jody and the secret behind why the jewel is blue and not red like usual rubies.
9	The Witch, the Detective, and the Phantom Thief	September 29, 2012
Spider returns to Japan after a show tour in Europe only to have another chance to kill Kaitou Kid. This time's heist will be for The Pink Sapphire exhibited at Ochima Art Museum. As Hakuba is determined to catch Spider this time, he collects enough data about Kid in order to take one step closer to Spider. Therefore, Akako foresees with her crystal magic ball that Kid will be arrested by Hakuba. Akako feels the need to help Kaito, and so she decides to disguise herself as Kaitou Kid. Will Hakuba succeed in catching Spider? Will Akako accomplish her plan by helping Kaito? Moreover, will Spider finish his mission by killing Kid for good? Hakuba manages to discover Kid's identity. Akako, Hakuba and Kaitou Kid encounter Spider, who, at the end, implies to Kid that he knows about Toichi Kuroba's death and his involvements with the organization. Akako shows fear for Kaito and helps him by disguising herself as Kaitou Kid to draw out Hakuba’s suspicion of him. The Pink Sapphire
