Part 1
A young man called Fusaya Oide appears in front of the Mouri Detective Agency, wanting to hire Kogoro to solve the mystery of the death of his father, Raita Oide.

Kogoro and Conan then know An Oide, the daughter of Raita and older sister of Fusaya, and Io Oide, the victim's wife and Fusaya's mother. Suddenly, for the shock of losing her husband, Io loses consciousness. Meanwhile the ammbulance deliver Io to the hospital, Kogoro and Conan see a strange woman smiling.
Part 2
Kogoro and Conan discover the identity of the mysterious woman and the truth of this tragedy.
