Background
Fukui is a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Division One Investigations. He loves Sato and is thus jealous of Takagi, often attempting to interrupt their dates along with several other officers. He has respect for Matsumoto and Kuroda, and follows their orders.
He meets Conan in several cases and his great deduction impressed him only during Takagi's kidnapping, but of course Conan leaves all credit to Shinichi or Agasa.[1]
During any investigation, he already checked something potentially dangerous before bring it somewhere on the crime scene.[2] He is also good to comfort a kidnapped girl, that he just took after Conan saved her.[3]
