Amanda Hughes (アマンダ・ヒューズ Amanda Hyūzu?) is a character in the manga and anime franchise Detective Conan.
Background
Amanda was killed by APTX 4869 seventeen years prior to the current timeline, when she was 81-year-old. She apparently had contacts to two American intelligence agencies, the FBI and CIA.She was so powerful in the US that Black Organization tried to threaten her. It's said that she was a contender to be the next president of the United States. She has a close bodyguard called Rachel Asaka. They are as close as mother and daughter. She is also a big fan of Kohji Haneda.
