He also managed to get some robots that could throw a bunch of "special kid's lunch" in plates at Conan in order to persecute him. And the most severely, he even wanted to drown Conan inside the big aquarium that his restaurant had. Viciously, he poured chilli powder inside the aquarium, which had cream soda already deposited. Unfortunately, Conan successfully impeded this crazy crime and touched him.

Jurakudai (聚楽大 Juraku-dai?) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background

His former restaurant.

Jurakudai is an internationally famous chef who owns a restaurant named "Jurakudai". He is constantly being called the "genius chef", and invented "special kid's lunch", a world-class five-star dish.

Personality

He pays extra attention upon his own vanity, and will not let other people to hurt his proud. He also does not have a good temper as he gets easily enraged by a single negative comment and sometimes may get far too extreme. Furthermore, he extremely enjoys listening to Classical music, notably Serenade No. 13 for strings in G major, his three staff members all know how to play the violin, whenever he starts his "Showtime" (cooking), his employees begin playing this piece of music.

Appearance

He is an elderly man, and usually possesses a sinister smile. When working at his restaurant, he wears white clothes, with white chef hat, and also a red scarf, every costume has the logo of his restaurant. In addition, he always wears spectacles with golden frames.

Name origin

His name comes from the Jurakudai, a sumptuous palace built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the late 16th century in Kyoto, before being demolished not even two decades later.
