Chiaki Hashiba (橋場 千晶 Hashiba Chiaki?, ???–March 8, 2000) is a Japanese screenplay writer.

Chiaki became active since 1995, and mainly prodcued gangster-themed works. For example, KYO-DAN (狂弾) and New GONIN (新GONIN) etc. Apart from film and television works, she also once collaborated with a Japanese cartoonist Kenji Okamura, which created the Empty Fist Killer (空拳殺手) series.

On March 8, 2000, Chiaki died of illness[1]. One of her apprentices was found to be born in 1963, based on this, it is possible that Chiaki was above 50 years old before she passed away. As a result, all the scripts aired after The Nocturne of Red Murderous Intent (aired in February 2000) were posthumous.

In Detective Conan anime, she writes Shinhonkaku Detective Fiction (新本格推理). Which always contain magnificient tricks and breathtaking imaginations. Moreover, the tricks will also make use of special buildings, and large scale. Just like Soji Shimada's Murder in the Crooked House (斜め屋敷の犯罪).
