Tadashi Morishita (森下 直 Morishita Tadashi), born 1964, is a Japanese screenplay writer. He was a member of Japan Writers' Guild, but quit the association in March 2019.
Morishita graduated from Scenario Centre Osaka School (シナリオ・センター大阪校), after he graduated, he debuted as a screenwriter with his script Abduction (誘拐) in 1995. In 1997, Toho made his script into a movie, which then won the 21st Japan Academy Award for Best Screenplay and the National Eiren Best Screenplay Award.
