Background
Fukui is a detective from the Tokyo MPD, Division One Investigations, Section Three. He loves Sato and is jealous of Takagi, often attempting to interrupt their dates along with several other officers. He has great respect for Matsumoto and Kuroda, and follows their orders conscientiously. He meets Conan in several cases and his great deduction impressed him only during Takagi's kidnapping, but Conan deflects suspicion off him by leaving all credit to Shinichi or Agasa.[1] Often times, when a huge case is closed, he likes to go drinking along with other officers that same night.[2] During any investigation, he already checked something potentially dangerous before bring it somewhere on the crime scene.[3] He is also good to comfort a kidnapped girl, that he just took in his arms after Conan saved her.[4]
