Yumiko Ishii (石井 ゆみこ ,Ishī Yumiko) is a Japanese animation director and key animator. She takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime.

Biography

Yumiko Ishii was originally affiliated with Studio Wanpack. Ishii joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2010, starting with Episode 567: Murderous Intent Raining on an Outdoor Spa; in the following year, he was promoted to animation director, starting with Episode 583: Kobayashi-sensei's Love, until episode 631 that she stepped down, thereafter she switched to irregular involvement as key animator.

In 2017, after serving as assistant animation director for Episode 859: The Dark Mountain Route, Ishii quit the production team and has not returned yet.
