Aya Sasaki (佐々木 綾 Sasaki Aya?) is a Japanese animator. She takes part in the production of Detective Conan anime and movies.

Biography

Aya Sasaki was originally affiliated with Studio Wanpack. Sasaki joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2013, starting with The Devil's Circuit. After that, she continuously did key animation for the anime. In 2017, she was promoted to assistant animation director, starting with Conan and Heiji's Nue Legend, but stepped down after The Tokyo-Style Detective Show Next Door due to the disbandment of Studio Wanpack.

In 2018, Studio Wanpack got disbanded owing to the death of the chairman; accordingly, episode 895 was their last work for Detectiev Conan. However, animators from the studio such as Yui Ushinohama, Hiroaki Takagi and Miho Tanaka, decided to continue working at Detective Conan irregularly, including Sasaki herself, which she only did key animation afterwards.
