Yasutoshi Murakawa (村川 康敏 Murakawa Yasutoshi?) is a Japanese screenplay writer. He was a student of Hiroshi Kashiwabara and is a member of the Japan Writers' Guild.

Biography

Before debuting as a screenplay writer via Hideo Yamamoto (山本 英夫)'s original work Voyeur (のぞき屋), Yasutoshi Murakawa self-trained at the 43rd Screenwriting Course Training Department, where he met and studied under Yumiko Inoue (井上 由美子), Takuya Nishioka (西岡 琢也), and Hiroshi Kashiwabara.

Furthermore, an animation work that he has written and directed, Furuits Basket, won an award at the Indies Movie Festival (インディーズムービー・フェスティバル) in 2000.
