Manga to anime changes
- Several scenes is not included in the anime:
- Eri explaining that she just had a hearing about labor problem before she meet Conan and Masumi.
- Masumi making comments after she read Rinzaki's work on his laptop.
- Eri convincing others to not rely on the police and try their best to evacuate people from the potentially targeted rooms, while proceeding with Conan, Masumi, and Ronda, leaving Kureishi behind.
Trivia
- The books Conan buys at the used book store are named after actual detective mangas: "Police in a Box" after Police in a Pod, "The Pharmaceutical Diaries" after The Apothecary Diaries and "Don't Call it a Mistake" after Don't Call it a Mystery.
- The hotel humidifier is a Sharp KC850U.
- While leaving the room, Rinzaki's mistress states that she is an editor from Chūgakukan (中学館), a reference to Daigakukan Publishing (大学館), a well established publishing company in the series, that is in fact named after the publisher of Detective Conan, Shogakukan (小学館).
- The suspects are named after types of black tea[1]:
- Danji Rinzaki (林崎 団司) is named after Darjeeling tea ;
- Seiko Ronda (論田 盛子) is named after Ceylon tea ;
- Aruto Kureishi (暮石 有斗) is named after Earl Grey tea.
