|summary=When Kogoro is hired to investigate the murder of a great magician while Ran is suspicious of Conan when she finds out he looks exactly like Shinichi. When arriving to investigate, Conan reveals who the Culprit and reveals that the magician knew he was going to be murdered. Afterwards, Ran takes Conan to his house and confronts him on his identity as Shinichi. Shinichi's mother comes in time and manages to trick Ran into thinking Conan is a distant relative, and that he is trained by Shinichi. Conan is later bought by his mother to her friend's house to investigate a possibility that their relative is an imposter. Conan was about to solve the case but his father corrects him on his mistake, rekindling with his wife, and sends Conan back to the Mouri custody.}}
