Unlike other dubs, the KBS 2TV dubbing team also seperately recorded a new song instead of using the opening used in the Japanese versions. These versions also erased/blurred out pictures of knives and guns due to warnings from government. However, because of the continued protest from parents and low ratings due to its rival show of the time, Pokemon on SBS, the show ended in November the same year, in episode 78 (101 in Jap. version).

These episodes were bought by the animation special cable TV station, Tooniverse, and reruns were often played.
