The information was actually referring to the beginning of episode 466 where Conan explains to Ai and Agasa that the boy had spoken to a mysterious man, who is seen wearing a hat. He is also wearing a jacket with Kir's picture on it, and the boy tells him that he saw Kir before. This guy is most likely a part of the organization and how Vermouth tracked the boy down to begin with. The two characters are VERY different. The information was actually referring to the beginning of episode 466 where Conan explains to Ai and Agasa that the boy had spoken to a mysterious man, who is seen wearing a hat.
