I asked about the providence of the M21 spoiler on the spoiler cbox and got this response:

  • 4 Jan 16, 21:22 Chek: If anyone can give me the final call on the M21 rumors being authoritative or not, that would be great. A wiki page has already been created and I don't want people getting ahead of themselves if the sourcing is even slightly precarious.
  • 4 Jan 16, 21:26 Serinox: Yeah, the source is precarious - it was brought up in this summary of the event http://bbs.aptx.cn/thread-293089-1-1.html who apparently quote the sentence " 来年の映画は、新一と蘭のラブラブ話で関西組も出ます。" (Next year's movie will be a love story of Shinichi and Ran. The Kansai members will apeear, too.) from this blog http://ameblo.jp/fuuyuu-xxx-sakurachan/entry-12113238312.html but both sources just list it besides the regular QA, without any indication who is supposed to have said it or why as far as I can tell at least and I haven't read about that rumor anywhere else so far, aside from this blog and this chinese site quoting it and other blogs are now quoting that sentence from these two sources, but still, I don't where it's coming from (personal sidenote: please don't have another love story in movies only - I want that stuff to be in the manga and floating around in cinemas without any acknowledgement in the manga T___T)

In other words, all of the reports of the above quote derive from the same source, a single blog, which does not put it the quote in any sort of context. Meanwhile other primary source blogs reporting on the Let's talk to Gosho-sensei day 2016 make no mention of this ShinRan+Kansai quote. So, while this rumor may be true, I don't think it is professional to assume the truth without more corroborating information from independent sources. The post-credits teaser at the end of movie 20, The Darkest Nightmare, is necessary as source here. --79.41.239.190 22:11, 29 April 2016 (CEST)
