Yoshiaki Hara (原 佳明 Hara Yoshiaki ) is a minor Black Organization member who appears only in Countdown to Heaven.
Background
Hara is the main game programmer for the Tokiwa Corporation in Twin Tower Buildings. He invented and programmed many games for the company, some of which the Detective Boys enjoyed greatly. One of his many inventions include a machine that creates a picture of what you would look like ten years later. He was recruited by the Black Organization for his hacking skills, but when he was caught hacking into the Organization's main computers and retracting the data, Gin met him in his house and shot him at point blank range. Before being shot, Hara grabbed a silver knife as an attempt to secretly indicate Gin as the murderer, which the latter simply presumes that it was just an act of self-defense. Gin and Vodka later erased all the data from his home computer and blew up the Twin Tower's main computer room to avoid any information being leaked.
Personality
Unlike most Black Organization members, Hara is a friendly man who isn't very violent in any way. He was recruited without much choice, and he never really got the dark Black Organization blood flowing through him. He was, in fact, planning on finding out what the Organization's true intentions were and betray them, but was killed in the process. As described by Tokiwa Mio, Hara can be very "childish" but was good at his job. Hara was caught eating chocolate, and even gave a few pieces to the Detective Boys. He even let the Detective Boys help work on a new game he was programming. Unfortunately, Hara was shot by Gin before that could happen.
