• The Nobunaga Oda Tournament starting in this volume was indirectly referenced during the "Kendo Tournament Murder Case" in Detective Conan, where Soshi Okita and Takeshi Onimaru reappear.
• Chapter 255, "Are You Coming?", the final chapter and epilogue of Yaiba, is set after every currently released chapter of Magic Kaito (Keiko Momoi and her friend talk about Kaito Kuroba and Aoko Nakamori finally being a couple) and Detective Conan (Takeshi Onimaru wins his third national title, while he still had two during the "Kendo Tournament Murder Case"), too.
