Part 1

A young man called Fusaya Oide appears in front of the Mouri Detective Agency, wanting to hire Kogoro to solve the mystery of the death of his father, Raita Oide.

At 4:30, Oide Raita falls asleep onto the floor, to later die. At the same time, the burglar Yasushi Taira enters to the house to rob money.

Kogoro and Conan they know An Oide, the daughter of Raita and older sister of Fusaya, and Io Oide, the victim's wife and Fusaya's mother. For the shock of losing her husband, Io loses consciousness. Meanwhile the ammbulance deliver Io to the hospital, Kogoro and Conan see a strange woman smiling. Conan and Kogoro are discovering information when they know that an employee of Tebai engineering called Yasushi Taira robbed the house when Raita Oide was on the floor.

Part 2

Kogoro and Conan discover the identity of the mysterious woman and the truth of this tragedy.
