Hirota (広田 Hirota?) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background

Hirota is a detective from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Division One Investigations. He loves Sato and is thus jealous of Takagi, often attempting to interrupt their dates along with several other officers. He has respect for Matsumoto and Kuroda, and follows their orders. He reports directly to Megure information on a murder case in presence of Kogoro.[1] He is pretty experienced in martial arts.[2]

He meets Conan in several cases and his great deduction impressed him only during Takagi's kidnapping, but of course Conan leaves all credit to Shinichi or Agasa.[3]

In a case, ready to carry out the plan to catch the kidnapper, he and a female officer are dressed as a married couple with a baby, but it's still unknown if they're really in love.[2]
