Sonoko then questions Ran about what happened in London with Shinichi. When Ran tells her that Shinichi confessed to her Sonoko yells in shock making the whole crowd turn around! But soon the crowd lose interest and the girls continue chatting.

Sonoko thinks that under the circumstances of the situation Ran forced him to confess, and because she didn't tell him she loved him too Shinichi probably thinks she rejected him!
Conan knows this is nonsense and that he a.k.a. Shinichi knows Ran loves him because of the way she made him confess. "If you're a Detective then deduce what's in my heart!"

A man is muttering to himself about him wanting Kogoro to hurry up and finish. Ran intoduces herself as Kogoro's daughter and asks the man if he had business with Kogoro. He asks Ran if shes been to Crime Scenes with her father. Sonoko interrupts and says "all the time". They follow the man.

The man wants her to go into the haunted house and confirm the accuracy of the zombies. He is introduced as Tsujiei. He says "We thought that someone who's seen numerous murdered victims with their own eyes would be able to give a more realistic assessment!"
The two girls are hesitating when another man called Hachiya interrupts "Actually, we're in the art track of the literature department, majoring in film studies. We're filming a horror movie for our final project. But apparently the scene where one of our characters dies isn't realistic. Or so says this annoying woman who thinks shes a genius director. As such, when I asked her to use this haunted house and walk the walk..." then a whiny voice calls "Could that woman... be me?" and a girl called Anna appears from behind the curtain - all in make up causing Ran and Sonoko to scream. Anna asks when Kogoro is coming. Tsujiei explains who Conan and co. are. Anna says to give their impressions to Kogoro afterwards and to be sure to bring him here afterwards. Then another girl approaches saying to Anna that it's almost time for their shift change.
