User talk:BlackWings
In regards to what's been going on
Personal pages are for the user/creator of those pages to edit alone. They are simply for personal speculation, theory writing, so on and so forth. They are not official wiki articles and should not be edited by anyone other than the creator. (Unless they are marked otherwise.)
If you wish to use your own User page for your own personal research on handedness, by all means, I highly encourage it.
To create your own research page, go to the "Search" bar and type in User:BlackWings/(title of research topic here). So for example, type in "User:BlackWings/Handedness". The search will return with a page that reads: "There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages, search the related logs, or edit this page." From there just click where it says "edit this page" or click the "create" button at the top. There ya go! :) Hope this helps. --Skyechan 23:28, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
- Please read my concern again. It wasn't about the edits I made, it was about the treatment during the debate. I wanted to discuss a perceived anomaly and she elected to lash out at me for it. I picked at the logic and methods of the person, and she stopped debating and freaked out. I already said I'm sorry for the changes (though I think the purely aesthetic one where I made the bullets uniform is an acceptable and ignorable decision), but my concern is about the fact that Chekhov elected to throw a tantrum because I wanted to discuss something that seemed unusual. And then there's the other thing I pointed out on Maurice's page, which seems to be solely malicious and uninformed after reading what she last said to me and after a visit to Mangafox (as well as hypocritical if my own inference is correct).
- I don't know how many more ways I can say, "I'm sorry, and this is about the way she treated me and someone else, not the edits." This is why I went to the top. I didn't know the rule on personal pages and she never bothered to point that out in the discussion before the attack, so she should be prepared for such a result. I don't think her treatment of me or anyone else who voiced concerns with the page she (if I'm correct) uses in some spots on the web as an end all reference as though it was a wiki page is justified or dignified and it seems venomous. I'm concerned in looking in to whether or not anything she did was justified and whether or not I should consider coming back to the site if that's how I'm going to be treated when I show up looking to discuss something. Re:My previous reply.
Sorry for the delay, but I had no idea you'd even edited my Talk page. In the future, if you want to make sure I see a message, make sure to edit my main talk page. :) (Page 2 that you edited is an archive of older questions/responses that I don't receive e-mail updates for.)
I did read the message at the time but I did not respond to the above because there's nothing for me to say or respond to. It's not my business to butt in and make a judgement. I only piped in to suggest a tip on making personal pages and that was all. :) --Skyechan 05:38, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- I left that on page two not long before your response, so there is no delay. However, I didn't know page two was an archive, I assumed it was a carry over to make the loading time smaller.
- That's good to know: A moderator's place is not to make a judgement on a the ethics of someone who takes a debate off topic with personal attacks, even when anyone can see that's the intention just be reading the summaries on the history pages. I definitely won't be coming back if this is how the site is conducted. BlackWings 21:34, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
