Koyata joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in the 1st part of The Forgotten Cell Phone. He also delegated Studio Wanpack and served the episode director role in 2009. Koyata began to work as key animator ever since 2011, and also has started to work as (assistant) animation director since 2021, starting with Beyond the Curtain.
