- The 36th Detective Conan opening is now being used in the anime. It is sung by B'z and is titled "Q&A".
- The 44th Detective Conan ending is now being used in the anime. It is sung by BOYFRIEND and is titled "Hitomi no Melody".
- The 45th Detective Conan ending has been announced and will begin being used August 10th. It will be sung by Chicago Poodle and is titled "Kimi no Egao ga Naniyori mo Sukidatta".

- The 17th Detective Conan movie entitled "Private Eye in the Distant Sea" has been released in Japanese theaters as of April 20, 2013.
