Trivia
- Despite making a big show of how Takagi doesn't smoke in the movie Jolly Roger in the Deep Azure, he actually does so in this episode in order for the show to reveal how Kimie dislikes smokers. This could either be one of three things.
- A simple animation error.
- This is earlier on in the show, before Takagi was a well known character, and perhaps, the idea of making him a non-smoker didn't come up until well after this episode.
- Or, seeing as how fans love to speculate, it may not have been Takagi. Though this theory is highly unlikely, there is still the possibility of Vermouth disguising herself. This is before Conan actually confronts the organization again, so it is highly doubted. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that Takagi did smoke, despite that in the future, it is shown that he isn't a smoker.
