Trivia
- Takahiro Ōkura, a detective novelist famed for his Assistant Inspector Fukuie series (featured in Volume 85), wrote the script for the episode, then it was not like any other AO. It was his first Conan work, and was really nervous, but everybody was so kind. The second is the script for movie 21, Crimson Love Letter, which is different from the episode, being really showy and and flashy.[1]
- This episode marks perhaps the only time that a single-case, anime-original character discovers Conan's identity.
- The first girl ten years ago is the one from middle-school who talks with Ran in RAIN MAN.
- The first boy has a similar character design to Kenta Connery from Magic Kaito.
