Ryoichi Sazanami (漣 諒一 Sazanami Ryōichi) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan.

Background
Ryoichi Sazanami is an entrepreneur from Tokyo who had quit his previous job to create his own restaurant, Alien Ramen. Unfortunately for him, his restaurant went bankrupt and he then felt deep hatred towards, Sadako Baba, a fortuneteller whom he sought fortunes on when to start his business. He then went to complain to her along with Fukami Endo and Shinsuke Kanawa, who will later be used by Sazanami in his murderous plan. He made a plan to pin the murder of Baba on the three of them and later make it irrelevant, so all three could be cleared out of suspicion, but his plan was found out by Conan, who revealed it through Sleeping Kogoro. Before his arrest, he turns crazy and starts yelling. Although he will be charged with premeditated murder, he will likely not get a death penalty.
Personality
Ryoichi Sazanami is a confident but weak-willed person, not wanting to push his ideas further but confident that they'll work. He doesn't aknowledge his own mistakes when his restaurant closed.

Sazanami is an average height man with black sassy hair. He wears lower-class clothes, probably because of his bankruptcy.
