Situation
Part 1
Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Sera and Makoto are walking on the streets after watching a movie, when they find a woman being hostage by a man with a motorcycle helmet. When the man was taking the woman hostage, Makoto knocked out the man and saved her, but the woman but a serious face when later Shigematsu Tomioka and Daisaku Odori complain because all that scene was a perfomance. Because the actor was knocked by Makoto, they can't film the scene, so the director Tomioka choose Makoto as the understudy. They later found two actors and a makeup artist. The actor Saiya Tokuzono is very annoying because he put electricity to the pen Nanako Jinmei was using to sign an autograph for him. When Tokuzono and Makoto went to a floor of the building to do a scene, the actor Saiya Tokuzono fells down from the window, and Makoto is the primary suspect of his death!

The police arrives and question all the staff what were they doing before the time of the murder. At the end of the episode, the assistant director Daisaku Odori seems to know who murdered the actor and starts to blackmailing the culprit.

When Conan and the police are investigating, Conan knows the accident of a production assistant called Nishibe, who was also Hideka's boyfriend.
