- The songs Yukiko has on her CDs are from Yoko Okino, Miho Komatsu and TWO-MIX.
- Shizuka Kawai reappears in The Private Eyes' Requiem as a thief's victim in Miracle Land. Her name is the same of a main protagonist in the manga and anime franchise Yu-Gi-Oh!.
- The use of MD Players would have been abnormal if the timeline of Detective Conan took place in the late 2010s or 2020s, since Sony has ceased development of MD devices, with the last of the players sold by March 2013.
