Case

Part 1

Kogoro and Conan notices that Ran has behave strangely. Kogoro suspects that Shinichi is seducing Ran, and while Conan knows that it can't be the case, they decide to follow her. They see Ran, Sonoko and Masumi who are having some lunch at Café Rice Flower, all the while marvelling at the pictures of a travel guide about a trip to Kyoto.

	Location: Komehana Café (Rice Flower Café) Victim: Daiki Saraie Age: 33 years old Cause of death: Blunt Force Trauma Suspects: Toshinori Motosu, Isuzu Naomura, and Tamao Hasunuma As Ran was going to reveal what was the trip to kyoto, the restaurant's customers and employees hear the sound of Isuzu Naomura yelling. They hurry to the locker room and find Daiki dead.

Part 2

Sera presents her deduction to everyone and when she doesn't point out the culprit, it was backed up by Conan.

Resolution

The culprit is Isuzu Naomura. The victim destroyed her family's café by critizing it on his blog and her parents committed suicide because of it. While the quality of the food did get worse, Isuzu was enraged that the victim had claimed to be a regular customer of the café, but didn't seem to know her when they first met, meaning that he never ate at the café and just based his review on gossip.

It turns out that the secret trip to Kyoto is a field trip with the school.

Suicide (past)
	Location: Naomura household Victim: Izusu Naomura's parents Time: A year ago Izusu's parents committed suicide a year ago because of the critics of Saraie which caused the customers to leave and as they couldn't generate any revenue and crumbling under debts, they decided to cross the threshold to the other side.

Trivia

• The first part of the episode had one of the trucks of Cheetah Delivery Service appear which had already appeared in many cases starting from Sweet and Cold Delivery Service.
• The police car outside is a Toyota Crown Sedan [S200] 2012. The license plate number is 新宿 800, は 23-86 (Shinjuku 800, Ha 23-86).

Manga to anime changes

• The Logo of Beika Bookstore doesn't have any white border in the manga but it does in the anime.
• The part where Kogoro and Conan follow Ran in Beika is much shorter in the manga probably because of timing issues.
• There is no appearance in the manga of the Cheetah Delivery Service.
• In the manga, there is no flashback of the corpse of Shido Nukitani and Soshi Okita looking above it.
