Tokujiro Nagai (長井 徳治郎 Nagai Tokujirō) is a character in the anime franchise Detective Conan. He is the only one-shot anime character who has knowledge of Conan's true identity, but even at the end of the case, he didn't understand how Shinichi remained this young for so long. After Conan figures out the truth behind the murder of Tsutomu Oshiro, Nagai turns himself in.

Background
He was the owner of Nagai Toys, a toys shop in Beika, but later, when his wife dies, he decide to close his shop. He was married with Ms. Nagai before her ill what caused her death the last year. In the episode 829, he kills a finance company employee called Tsutomu Oshiro because he robbed the money he needed for pay the treatments of his wife ill. In the end of the episode, when he was to turn himself to the police, he discovers the true identity of Conan Edogawa, Shinichi Kudo. He recognizes him because 10 years ago, he did a deduction of who broked a toy locomotive.
Personality
He is a serious man who really caried of his wife and his toy shop. Loves too much her wife, even if she was dead. Before his wife death, he was a happy man who managed his shop with her.
