Joji Yanase (柳瀬 譲二 ,Yanase Jōji) is a Japanese animation director, who works for Detective Conan anime and movies.

Yanase did numerous key animation works in the anime ever since his debut in 1996. However, in 2000, Yanase left the production team temporarily. In 2007 Yanase returned, and just the following year, he was promoted to animation director, starting from Kaitou Kid's Teleportation Magic.

Among the staff list of movie 25 and The Culprit Hanzawa, Yanase's name can also be seen, as the role of animation director.
