Akiko Kawashima (川島 明子 ,Tauchi Ayako) is a Japanese animator. She does key animation and animation director works in Detective Conan anime. She is affiliated with Sunshine Corporation.

Kawashima joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 1996, starting with Pro Soccer Player Blackmail Case, and served as a regular key animator for anime episodes. In 2002, she began to work as an animation director, starting with the 1st part of The Secret Rushed Omission. Kawashima only started to delegate the studio and do animation directing work from the 2nd part of The Similar Princesses onwards, after that, she constantly worked under the episodes done by Sunshine Corporation. But also quit the production team after finishing the key animation work of Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story - Fake Wedding, along with the studio.
