Touto vs Tohto vs Toto
I want to make a note here about spelling. I've seen two common English variants of "Tōto": Touto and Tohto. I am currently checking with a translator which one is the more proper of the two. "Toto" is practically unheard of as far as I can tell. In case you are wondering why, Tōto is a commonly used term to refer to things in manga/anime where Tokyo might be used in real life: e.g. Tokyo tower or Tokyo University. - Verdict is back. Either is acceptable. Google tells me Tohto is slightly more common than Touto as a spelling. We should probably pick one or the other. I slightly prefer Tohto because I have seen place names romanized similarly and it would keep people from "fixing" Touto to Toto. Chekhov MacGuffin talk 13:16, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
