Shigenori Taniguchi (谷口 繁則 Taniguchi Shigenori) is a Japanese animator. He does key animation and animation director works in Detective Conan anime.
Works in Detective Conan
Taniguchi began to participate in the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2013, starting with the 1st part of Sweet and Cold Delivery Service. After that, he regularly worked under the episodes done by Azeta Pictures. He was then promoted to an animation director in 2016, starting with the 2nd part of Chiba's Difficult UFO Case. This continued until 2019, when he quit the production team after finishing the animation correction for The Tokyo Barls Collection and has not returned yet.
