Asako Nishida (西田 亜沙子 ,Nishida Asako), born December 2nd, is a Japanese freelance animator, character designer, and animation director. She does key animation and animation directing work in Detective Conan anime.

Nishida first joined the production of the Detective Conan anime in 1997, starting with Sports Club Murder Case, serving as the animation director. After that, she did animation direction for another three episodes, then did three episodes of key animation; she eventually quit the anime production in 1998, the following year, after finishing the key animation work of The White Sandy Beach Murder Case. She mainly worked with Hiromi Muranaka.
