One afternoon, Kogoro, Ran, and Conan were at a tidal park in Chiba, enjoying the scenery. After low tide occurred, Kogoro was about to take them to an all-you-can-eat seafood restaurant for dinner, but all three of them discover a body lying on a flood bridge.

The victim is Ryuji Kimishima, the second generation president of a famous food manufacturing company. The main suspects are his wife Aoi, a former idol and actress, and his older brother Yuta, who works in the same company.
As always, Kogoro puts himself in ridicule with his pathetic deductions.
